Private Companies Need to Pay Attention to how they screen Job Applicants

Soon, private employers will not be able to request salary history from potential hires. On January 25, 2020 the New Jersey law takes effect that makes it illegal to use a job applicant’s previous salary information to screen the applicant. There are certain exceptions but employers should pay careful attention to the details.
